What are the costs/fees/expenses that I should expect?
MYP programing has no tuition or examination fees. DP programming has fees that are associated with External Exams that varies depending on the number of exams a student decides to take.

What documents will you need from his current school in order to transfer to West High School?
Official Transcripts from current school.  Proposed course schedule with course descriptions is also beneficial.

Can my student get the same combination of subjects they had at previous IB schools?
IB Programming has myriad offerings and different schools offer different IB courses. West will make every effort to have transfer students continue their courses and HL /SL level work.  Sometimes it is not possible due to the global variety of possible course work.

Does someone from the school coordinate with families of transfer students to ensure a student's smooth transition? 
Students/families can request a tour on the West High School website. Students can meet with a counselor and IB coordinators to answer questions and create an academic plan for a smooth transition.
